Riso Amaro's Chef

Maurizio de Filippis was born in 1983, attended the hotel-management school Angelo Celletti of Formia where you could do a stage in Strasburg in the restaurant Au bord du Rhin.

After finishing the high school, started his career as chef in the restaurant in Rome called Agata and Romeo, then lived in London for a brief period and when he came back to Italy he had the occasion to work in the court of Anthony Genovese, the acclaimed chef of the restaurant "Al Paglaccio".

After all these really training experience, Maurizio followed his activity as high level chef by the restaurant "Al Ceppo" in Rome and in the wine bar restaurant "Casa Bleve".

But since a lot of time he had the idea of a warm and welcoming place in his Fondi and, as a challenge, he decided to start this adventure in his native land opening the restaurant "Riso Amaro".
